The opener decides the campaign. These are the patterns that reliably pull 1–3% replies on aged data — one per vertical, plus the follow-up that revives dead threads.
"Hi {name}! Think you're overpaying for car insurance? I can run a side-by-side quote in a couple minutes — interested?"
Auto is a price-shopping line: everyone suspects they're overpaying, so the side-by-side framing gives them a no-commitment yes. Reference their state's average rate in the follow-up if they reply.
"Hi {name}, this is {agent}. Plans changed a lot this year — want me to check if you qualify for a lower ACA premium? Takes 2 min."
Works because it's true: subsidies and plan lineups genuinely change annually. Best sent outside open enrollment when competitors go quiet — SEP-eligible replies are underpriced attention.
"Hi {name}, {agent} here. Looked at term life lately? Family coverage can cost less than you'd think — want a quote?"
"Less than you'd think" is doing the work: most people overestimate term pricing by 3x. Don't quote numbers in the opener; make the surprise the reason to reply.
"Hi {name}, it's {agent}. Homeowners in {state} are locking in mortgage protection while rates are low — has anyone gone over your options?"
"Has anyone gone over your options" implies a service visit, not a sale, and the honest answer is usually no. Works best on 30–55 with state targeting on.
"Hi {name}, this is {agent}. Quick question — do you have anything in place so final costs don't fall on family? Plans start small."
Keep it gentle and concrete. "Plans start small" answers the affordability objection before it's raised. Note: our aged lists cap at age 64, so run FE on the 55–64 band.
"Hi {name}! Would a lower monthly debt payment help? I can text a free, no-obligation breakdown — interested?"
The word "breakdown" beats "consultation" — it promises information, not a meeting. Pair with an income-qualified list so the replies can actually restructure something.
"Hi {name}, {agent} again — no rush at all. If I could cut your {line} bill, is that worth a 2-minute look this week?"
A third of campaign replies come from message two. "No rush at all" defuses the pressure that made them ignore message one; the "2-minute" bound makes the yes cheap. Stop after two touches — a third message tanks reply quality and invites complaints.
Reply within five minutes or the thread dies — speed-to-reply is the highest-leverage variable in the whole system. Move to a call as fast as they'll allow ("mind if I call you real quick?"), because policies close on the phone, not in the thread.
These scripts assume a clean, deduped, state-targeted list — that's the product. 10,000 aged leads with validated numbers (96% mobile) is $150 in the order builder, and code PACT takes 20% off your first order. Grab the free 100-row sample if you want to inspect the data first.
